How to Play Win-Win

Win-Win is one of Kerala’s longest-running lotteries and is easy to play. You
can purchase tickets at a cost of ₹40 and draws are held every Monday.

Like many of the state’s lotteries, tickets are printed with 12 series of
letters. Win-Win’s series all start with a ‘W’, followed by a second letter: A,
B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, and M alternate every other draw with N, O, P, Q,
R, S, T, U, V, X, Y, and Z. Following these two letters are six numbers from 0
to 9.

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in any Indian lottery.

Prizes

The Win-Win jackpot is ₹75 Lakhs. You win if the number on your ticket matches
the one that is randomly selected for the top prize. There are eight prize
categories in total, while there is also a consolation prize of ₹8,000 for the
11 players who match the winning number but who have a ticket from a different
series. The following table shows all the Win-Win Lottery prizes.

Claiming Prizes

You have 30 days from the date of the draw to claim any prizes won in the Win
Win Lottery. The way you can claim prizes depends on the value of your win, but
you should always make sure you fill out the reverse side of your ticket and
keep hold of your receipt.

If you win a first or second prize, you will need to go the Directorate of State
Lotteries in person. If you win ₹1,00,000 or below, you can visit the
Directorate or a District Lottery Office. Lottery agents can only pay out prizes
of up to ₹5,000. If you live outside Kerala, you must claim prizes of any value
at the Directorate.

As per the Finance Act (Central), income tax and surcharge will be deducted if
applicable; there is a 30 percent tax on prizes over Rs.10,000.
